Tried using xcopy, but after copying, the filenames and folder names come out garbled.

This is really depressing. Can anyone give me some pointers??
The following command can be used under winxp.
Under DOS I can't find a usable xcopy—either the names come out garbled, or it simply can't be used at all. So frustrating!
xcopy "C:\Documents and Settings\管理员\Local Settings\Application Data\Google\Picasa2\db2" "D:\我的文档\软件备份\Picasa\db2" /e/h/k

If there are English letters before the Chinese name, then it's easier to handle.
Use ~1 in place of the Chinese.

Under DOS, first make sure you have a long filename driver installed (DOSLFN 0.40F), then use the XCOPY substitute -- XCP 1.63, and you can copy long filenames in both Chinese and English. Both can be downloaded from the forum.
