Hello, Leader, and all moderators.

Could you add an RSS link for "View Latest Posts" to the forum?

Now QQ Mail supports RSS reading, which can make it more convenient to view and read.

System Home, Deepin Forum, etc., all have this function. Hope the Leader can consider it.

Always unable to download the subject when using DreamMail, and manual subject update is also not possible.
When using Foxmail, it works for a while and then doesn't work for a while.
When choosing "Save Target As" in IE, can always get the file.
But there is no problem when using DM and FM to receive RSS News, so it's difficult to confirm the cause of the problem.
In addition, it is suggested that the order of news be changed to reverse order from new to old, which is more in line with reading habits. The author should be the author of the reply post. It would be better if the preview of the reply post can be included.

What does invalid address refer to? Then it seems to be okay later?

I haven't used software like DreamMail, not very clear, but since other software are all normal, it indicates that it is a problem with the software itself, not the RSS. I use the RSS reading function built into the browser (mainly Firefox, followed by Opera), the effect is all good, stronger than IE's function, try Firefox and you will know, and you can also subscribe it to its live bookmarks, very convenient. Also, actually it is already in the order from new to old, now the author has been changed to the author of the reply post and the content preview of the post is added, and each section has corresponding RSS subscriptions. There is a screenshot of opening rss.php under Firefox below:

This is like this.

The main reason for using DM and FM is to automatically get the Newsfeed every day instead of opening the browser.

This morning, when using FoxMail, it prompted again: "Failed to automatically get Newsfeed information. Maybe the URL you entered is not a Newsfeed address, or this address does not support automatic information acquisition." It seems that the possibility of not supporting automatic acquisition is relatively high. I guess it is because a user login session is needed.

Opera supports feeds. Unfortunately, the "speed experience version" I am currently using has streamlined it. I will switch to the new Opera.

The Feed icon in the address bar is there, but clicking it has no reaction. Directly clicking the RSS icon on the page prompts: "Sorry, your level [visitor] cannot perform this operation. Please check if you have registered or logged in." At this time, I have already logged in. After clicking refresh, the subscription content appears. At this time, clicking the RSS icon in the address bar can effectively subscribe. Then I repeatedly cleared the cache and session to test what conditions the feed actually needs, but got no result.

The news order should be that Opera or FoxMail rearranged the news.

Temporarily removed the user login verification, try again.

It's quite headache.
After canceling the login verification,
DreamMail can create news channels
and receiving is without problems.

FoxMail still has the same prompt.
After restarting FoxMail and recreating the news channel, it's normal.

The newly installed GreatNews can receive normally.

After clearing the cache of Opera RSS, it can receive normally.

Does that mean all current RSS readers can be used normally now?

It should be normal.
Sometimes individual browsers can't receive it, which may be related to their own access mechanisms.
To sum up, not adding user verification may be more universal.
If it doesn't affect the normal operation of the forum, it is suggested not to add it.
Otherwise, the significance of RSS news push is not great.

Now the update is very timely. I just sent it out, and GreatNews received it. But the news time is 11:05 AM, which is different from both the forum system time and the client system time. Very strange!

I also discovered this problem when debugging GreatNews just now. It is estimated that the error in GreatNews' time zone judgment is caused (seeing that its update history says that a recent version automatically converts the time to the local time, maybe there is a judgment error in the middle), hope to correct it. But the function of GreatNews is still good.

Now, the poster and time have been added directly in the post preview, which should be consistent with the forum's time.

I saw the RSS icon in Netscape Navigator. I'll try Google Reader later.
