The horizontal width on my monitor can't be adjusted all the way full, so I used powerstrip (with an interface like the one below) to adjust it and make the horizontal width full. I turn the width down in the monitor OSD, then use powerstrip to fill it back out, and after that I can freely adjust it with the OSD. But after adjusting it this way, the refresh rate goes a little higher. I used powerstrip to set it to a bit over 84. Will this cause any problems?

It shouldn't be much of a problem.

But can this be saved? If I close powerstrip and change the resolution again, it goes back to the original. If I reinstall the system I'll definitely have to adjust it again. What should I do?

That depends on your monitor, hehe.

My monitor is a Xiahua Princess Taiping 17ZFII, 1600*1200*60, 170hz.
Originally the monitor's horizontal width could still be adjusted to full. It seems that once after I followed something online to mod a gf2mx into a quadro, I then set the refresh rate too high, and after that the width could no longer be adjusted to full.
