What are the functions of the various CAB archives on the Windows 98 installation disc?

---- After getting a Windows 98 installation CD, I found that there are many CAB archive files in its installation directory, such as Base5.cab, Net10.cab, Win98_22.cab, etc. I don't know what each of these archive files is used for.

---- Quite a few users are unclear about what some of the archive files on the Windows 98 installation CD are used for, how many files of each format there are, what the naming rules are, and so on. Precopy1.cab～Precopy3.cab 3 files installation files and information files
Catage4.cab 1 file catalog files required for driver certification
Base5.cab～Base6.cab 2 files files required for the first boot
Net7.cab～Net10.cab 4 files network-related drivers; these CAB files are optional, and are copied to the hard disk only when installing networking
Driver11.cab～Driver21.cab 11 files Windows 98 drivers
Win98_22.cab～Win98_80.cab 57 files (the number of Windows 98 system files depends on the Windows version) Windows 98 system files
ch199.cab 1 file offline channel Web pages, used for the Channel Bar
Edb.cab 1 file utility archive used to make a Windows 98 boot disk

---- It should be noted that for different versions of Windows 98, the number of archive files may differ. Also, Windows 95's naming rules for these CAB archives are somewhat inconsistent with those of Windows 98, so they must not be applied directly.
