Can GRUB have a hotkey to enter at boot? Like one-key restore where pressing F11 can enter the restore state? Does anyone know?

If you are reading my beginner's tutorial, it is recommended to look at the latest version from 08-27, which has the usage of renaming files. Of course, these instructions are all in the official documentation. Read it several times and you will understand.

What I don't understand is why when I use the shortcut key to boot GRUB through the MBR, the main system can recognize grldr but can't recognize the renamed xyldr file. However, when booting with NT, it can recognize my xyldr file.

After default installation, download DSPTW.EXE. Run the following code to complete the key modification. This code is for the 20071111 version.

After completion, press F7 to enter within 3 seconds.

Use the attached grubinst.exe I provided to deploy.

grubinst.exe --mbr-disable-floppy --boot-prevmbr-first --boot-file=xyldr --time-out=3 --hot-key=F7 "--key-name=<F7>" (hd0)

Grubinst.exe also needs to be modified accordingly. Of course, if you use other installation methods, you have to figure out how to modify it yourself.

If the hotkey has already been installed, how to remove it?
