How do you disconnect it in pure DOS???
Won't pulling the U disk out directly damage it?
After pulling it out, if I plug it back in, it can't find the U disk anymore.
I have to reboot first (and I can only detect it if I plug the U disk in before booting).

Hehe, pulling out the U disk directly won't damage it, as long as you pull it when its indicator light isn't flashing.
“As for ‘after pulling it out, if I plug it back in, it can't find the U disk anymore,’” aren't you just asking for trouble? Since you want the system to be able to recognize the U disk, why pull it out in the first place?

I agree with part of what post #5 said: under DOS, as long as the U disk's working indicator isn't flashing, you can unplug it without damage! But sometimes it's unplugged in order to copy files, and after plugging it back in it won't recognize it. Is there any way to solve that?

This is a problem: after unplugging it and plugging it back in, how do you get it to recognize the drive?
