Heheh, the original poster wants to make a DOS bootable disk, do you know how? It seems you don't, otherwise you wouldn't have said "all require using winimage". So, still follow the suggestion from the person above: look at more posts!

If you dislike that the downloaded things all have super strong functions and so on, you can delete them oh.

What can be downloaded are only boot disk images or boot disk files. It is impossible to be the floppy disk you want.

Thanks to the expert upstairs for the guidance. I made 3 ones and none work. Could it be that they all don't support SATA interface CD - ROM drives and hard drives? The boot disks I made before can't be used. Is it related to SATA? Please be more patient in teaching, thanks.

Check if the gcdrom.sys driver is loaded in the downloaded boot disk image.

Is the LZ asking about how to boot the XP system to the DOS state?

If so, you can simply download a boot disk, such as DOSHome's Super Emergency Disk (hard disk version), and install it.

If you download an img format boot disk, you can use vfloopy to install it to the system.

You can refer to my boot disk, which integrates many software, with sizes of 1.44 and 2.88MB.

Thanks to the support from the 9th floor,
I want to make a bootable CD-ROM booted by DOS
1; Load the CD-ROM drive
2; Identify the large hard disk
3; Add some partitioning tools, etc.
I haven't used DOS for a long time recently, and I've forgotten how to edit the config file, heh heh
The question is, I don't know if the SATA interface can be recognized in the device drivers of DOS
Is the gcdrom.sys mentioned by the above expert a new CD driver? All at a loss

Finally figured it out!
The SATA interface driver support under DOS hasn't been changed. With the large number of new computers entering the mainstream, devices with SATA interfaces will become more and more. The problems I encountered before always thought it was because the disks were old or the CD-ROMs, etc. It turned out that the old DOS drivers under the IDE interface couldn't recognize SATA. Thanks to the help of friends,
I put two files here and ask all the teachers to give guidance:
Write in autoexec.bat
@ECHO OFF
LH MSCDEX.EXE /D:MSCD000 /D:MSCD001 /D:MSCD002
path=a:\
mouse
ghost
restart

Write in config.sys
device=himem.sys /testmem:off
DEVICE=GCDROM.SYS /D:MSCD000 /C0
DEVICE=GCDROM.SYS /D:MSCD001 /C1
DEVICE=GCDROM.SYS /D:MSCD002 /C2
files=60
buffers=30
DOS=HIGH,UMB
stacks=9,256
devicehigh=ramdrive.sys /E 8192
LASTDRIVE=z

Not tested, many discs have been burned. Now please ask the experts for guidance

Yeah, I'm also thinking about making a DOS boot disk right now, but I ran into this problem!
I downloaded the standard MS-DOS 7.10 boot disk, which is a ZIP file. After extracting it, there are files like MSDOS71B.IMG/MAKEBOOT.BAT/FILE_ID.DIZ/DI.EXE. Is it just that I need to burn the IMG file to a CD? Please give me some guidance!

In the UitraISO menu, select "New" ---- "Bootable CD". In the pop-up window, select MSDOS71B.IMG. At this time, the disc property will become "Bootable CD". You don't need to add any files, and you can directly burn it to make it bootable.
