I have a DOS application (written with FOXPRO). Originally, it worked well under 98 with the support of PDOS95. But after the machine was changed to XP, it doesn't work. The CMD under XP doesn't support PDOS95, so Chinese characters can't be displayed and entered. Please experts give advice, thanks in advance!

The command line mode of XP can directly display and input Chinese characters, and switch input methods with Ctrl+Shift. But if you enter the editing interface of another program, you can't use the Chinese input method under Windows. However, you can use ccdos or ucdos.

Pure 16-bit DOS programs cannot display Chinese characters in the DOS window of XP\WK. If you need to display Chinese characters, you must recompile it into a console program for XP\2K.
