I used the NTFS.img from vflooy to make a USB boot disk. It boots normally on the machine at home, but when I took it to the company machine it just stops after "starting cia commander....";
Also, a boot disk made the same way with SBMSR400 also works at home, but when taken to the company machine it only boots to the grub prompt and then stops there, unable to enter menu.lst. Using chainloader /boot/grub/ntfs.bs then says cannot mount selected partition
I used usboot1.70 to make the USB boot disk

USB boot disks have support/compatibility issues. The same USB boot disk can only boot some machines that support USB booting.

But the BOOT menu on the company machine does have a USB DEVICE option.

That still doesn't necessarily mean it will boot successfully. It depends on what models of USB disks the machine supports.

Hehe, try a different version of the software. usboot1.70 has problems (what I mean is the version that was first posted on DOS Home half a year ago; I don't know whether there was an improved version later)!
