Qube is a powerful GUI enhancement program under DOS. Its interface is very nice, and should be somewhat better than the interfaces of programs like MenuetOS. It is also very convenient to use, and its size is quite small. Now I've made a Qube boot disk, a fully graphical environment under DOS. Everyone, download it and give it a try, and suggestions are welcome:

The graphical interface doesn't come up... it reports an error.

I tested it under VPC, and the following error message appeared:
System path of Trashbin for QubeOS found at : 'trashbin.def' as 'd:\software\sy tem\qube\trashbin' REGISTERS NOT FOUND ON LOCALHOST /SYS/xsystem.reg I took a look, and that QUBE seems to be over 900K. I don't know whether it runs by loading everything at once. If so, then the memory wouldn't be enough. |

Sorry, just now I was testing it under VPC, and the graphical interface didn't appear. Later I tested it again on a real machine, and everything was OK. Not bad, the features really are very good, but why can it only access one partition? Also, shortcuts can't be created for the menu below, and that's not very good.
