I added logo=0 to msdos.sys, so why does the blue sky and white clouds still appear at startup? And after startup a menu of choices appears, including Safe Mode and so on, five items in all, and even the load path in autoexec no longer works.
The contents of msdos.sys are as follows: ;format logo=0 The config.sys settings are as follows: device=himem.sys /testmem:off device=emm386.exe noems devicehigh=setver.exe dos=high,umb numlock=off files=30 autoexe.bat is as follows path d:\dos7 ; d:\ucdos Also, I'd like to ask what ;format does in msdos.sys. |

format means "format"; I guess it's there to tell us to refer to the format below when setting MSDOS.SYS.
The semicolon in front serves as a comment, because FORMAT is not a valid setting item. To remove the LOGO, what you need to set is Logo=0, or do you need to distinguish uppercase and lowercase letters? |

The reason is that there is no "" keyword section; even if you have LOGO=0 it is still useless (it does not distinguish uppercase and lowercase).

The following is a quote from Wengier at 2002-11-11 20:46:34: After adding , the blue sky and white clouds are gone, but why still can't the path in autoexec.bat be loaded? |

What do you mean by "why still can't the path in autoexec.bat be loaded"?

Look at the contents of my autoexec.bat file: at startup it automatically loads the path for external commands.
When logo=0 is not added in msdos.sys, it can load the path at startup (I don't know whether I'm describing this appropriately). What's strange is that after adding logo=0, the command in autoexec.bat stops working. I don't know the reason. |

Was your AUTOEXEC.BAT executed at startup?

Without logo=0 it can be executed, but with logo=0 it can't be executed. I can't figure out why.
