Don't load things that aren't needed. It's best to even not use the mouse for now.

I tried it. I simulated MS-DOS 6.22 in VPC, installed PDOS and CD-ROM driver. I found that when loading the PDOS kernel, the WIN installation froze. After removing the kernel, the installation and operation were both successful. After the installation was successful, I tried to add the kernel again and found that both PDOS and WIN ran normally, success! I think it's not that the memory is too little, but that the WIN installation program conflicts with the TSR program loaded by the system, because I even used MEMMAKER to optimize the memory before the installation.
