I want to add a password to F8. I already know the specific steps. I extracted menu.lst from ntldr and made modifications, but why is it not working when I want to restore menu.lst to ntldr?

There is no menu.lst in ntldr. You mean grldr.
Also, your report is too simple. It doesn't say clearly what commands were used for the operation and what the version is. |
