China DOS Union

Question for all the experts, what exactly is DOS\V?
I want to play some old Japanese games , and I heard they run in that environment.
I only found a so-called DOS\V boot disk, hehe, and I still don't really know how to use it.
I don't know whether anything else is needed.
(I'm using win98)

DOS/V seems to be some kind of software specially for playing NEC PC98 Japanese games.
Back then NEC made a kind of PC98 machine that was not fully compatible with IBM PCs, and Japanese people developed many Japanese games on it. I heard DOS/V can emulate the PC98 environment and support those PC98 games on a PC.
I have it, but I've never used it.

DOS/V provides Japanese fonts and an environment for programs, its function is more or less similar to Chinese systems like UCDOS/CCDOS, but it has nothing to do with the PC98x1 series

DOSJ is the best substitute for DOS/V. It's a small TSR program. There is a download in the site's "display tools".

Finally can download it.....
But it doesn't seem as good as the one I uploaded......Open attachment use dosv.bat to load it, use "dosvfont -r" to remove it
