My system only has WinXP installed, with two physical hard disks. After upgrading the BIOS, one of the two logical partitions on the secondary disk shows up as unformatted under XP. If I boot with a WinME or 98 boot disk, I can dir the files on it, so at that point I planned to make a ghost, but unexpectedly that also gave an error. This partition has about 2 GB of data, including long filenames and Chinese filenames. How can I copy these files?

The readme for the 7.10 boot disk says it supports Chinese filenames, so I wanted to boot with it and copy the data. But after booting, there was no long filename support. Why? And what tools and methods should I use to copy these files?

Please, thanks!
