To all CDU members: Hello! I made a new mini-logo for the China DOS Union. Please take a look and see what you think. Meaning of the mini-logo: two hand-like shapes are clasped together, symbolizing joining hands in cooperation, mutual help and mutual care, which is the very meaning of a union. And what the two hands form is exactly “CDU”. This is the idea behind the new mini-logo of the China DOS Union!

I was considering the file size issue. The more complex the animation, the larger the size. So I only designed a raster animation effect.

Not bad! But the font for words like “China DOS Union” should be a bit bolder, to make it stand out more.

Kuangxiang, you could add a national-flag background on this basis, to symbolize the China DOS Union, but don't make it an ordinary national flag—better to make it more like the style of the Windows logo.

What I mainly had in mind was making the background transparent, which is exactly the essence of GIF. The “China DOS Union” and “CDU” above already express the idea of China quite well. After all, it's just a mini-logo, so simplicity and clarity should come first. If a national flag is added too, wouldn't that be a bit too cluttered?
