Question:
Moderator, I recently tried OpenCP 2.6.0
and the result was the same as when using MPXPLAY.EXE:
it said dos4gw had an error.
What exactly is dos4gw,
and why does this file keep giving me errors?
Is there any way to solve it?
I want to use OpenCP 2.6.0 to play WMA files.
Thanks to the moderator for the help!

Go to the forum's "DOS Software Download" section and download a DOS4GW program.

DOS4GW is an extender under DOS. Its function is to put the CPU into protected mode, so that expanded memory can be accessed directly. Some games and application software need to use a lot of memory, and at such times these extenders are what make DOS enter protected mode.

Got it working! OpenCP 2.6.0 has to be in the same directory as DOS4GW!
