Question: How to make a pure DOS boot disk in WinME - China DOS Union Forum

Using the SYS command can only transfer the system files to drive C:, it's basically useless (I'm talking about WIN-ME).
Method 1: Find a WIN-ME installation CD, run the installer, and when it gets to “Create Startup Disk,” click “OK” to create it. After it's done, click “Cancel” to exit the installer.
Method 2: Open “Add/Remove Programs” in the “Control Panel,” click the “Startup Disk” tab, insert a blank floppy disk, and click “Create.”
Method 3: download www.han-tang.net/dos.zip, extract it and then run bootdisk.bat .
