.......OpenCP 2.6.0 needs the MSAUD32.ACM file when playing ASF format. Where should I put the MSAUD32.ACM file, and does anything need to be set?

The MSAUD32.ACM file can be placed anywhere, but you need to set its location in the CP.INI file in OpenCP. The specific method is to open the CP.INI file, change the value of MSAUD32=... under the section to the correct location, then save and exit. But note that not all versions of the MSAUD32.ACM file may work.

I tried two versions of MSAUD32.ACM, 4.00.0.3752 / 8.00.00.4440, and neither works. Could you put a working version online for download?

According to the introduction in OpenCP's own documentation, at least versions 3688 and 3752 should work. You can see here for details: http://www.cubic.org/player/doc/node57.htm But I don't have the above versions myself yet. Could you upload them so I can take a look? (You can do it through the attachment when posting a reply.)

Mail received. In my previous post, by upload them I meant uploading them through the attachment when posting on this forum. Ordinary registered users can upload files up to 400K, while moderators can upload up to 600K.

Moderator, do those two MSAUD32.ACM files work??? One more question: can DOS play VQF??? How do I do "attachment upload when posting on the forum"?

I tried them. OpenCP can recognize one of them, but not the other one. However, it seems it does not support all ASF and WMA formats. I'm not very clear on the exact situation with VQF, and I also don't know whether VQF can be played under WIN. I'll go check. You can choose "Reply" (at the upper right of the post) instead of "Quick Reply"; then you will see the button for uploading an attachment, and you can upload it there.
