Chinese PXE Network Cloning Maintenance System Beta 2.1
Using the principle of remote boot image based on PXE for workstations, workstations can successfully boot the system without CD-ROM, floppy drive, or USB flash drive; enter the network cloning maintenance system interface, perform system restoration and backup, as well as partition formatting, NTFS access, etc. For every person maintaining the system, it is undoubtedly of great benefit; more importantly, it is quite convenient!
This program was completed by me in my spare time, for my own research and use only; the program copyright and related technologies belong to the original author, and it cannot be used for any form of commercial use, otherwise any disputes shall be unrelated to me!
The following is nonsense and can be skipped.
The usage method is very simple. As long as your beloved computer supports PXE boot function, how to support it, find it in your COMS, I can't explain one by one. What if it doesn't support? Nonsense! If it doesn't support, what's the point of network cloning? However, it's not impossible, just a bit more troublesome. You can add a PXE boot chip, or flash the BOIS code. For specific methods, find relevant materials by yourself. What if there are dozens or hundreds of them? Oh my god, you can't flash one by one. Most current motherboards are integrated with PXEROM, unless it's an old antique.
The specific operation methods are as follows:
1. 1> Set the IP of the network cloning server: 10.1.1.1 Netmask: 255.0.0.0
Advantage: Fast and convenient, no need for any settings on the client, quite good when there are more machines. Disadvantage: Need to modify the server IP and subnet mask.
2> Set the IP and subnet mask of the network cloning server to the current one, and the client automatically performs network cloning by adjusting the WATTCP.CFG configuration file.
Advantage: No need to modify the server IP and subnet mask, good when there are not many machines. Disadvantage: Need to change the client WATTCP configuration for each machine.
3> Set the IP and subnet mask of the network cloning server to the current one, and the client enables manual GHOST to select the session and automatically obtain the IP for network cloning.
Advantage: No need to modify the server IP and subnet mask. Disadvantage: Sometimes unable to find the DHCP service, quite frustrating!
2. Open Tftpd32, keep 2 items, namely (TftpServer, DHCPServer), fill in the starting IP address, and the number of IPs to accommodate \ subnet mask,
The boot file name is mba.pxe Note that the IP address pool must be in the same network segment as the network cloning server IP, otherwise the image cannot be downloaded.
3. Open GhostSrv network cloning server, set the session name to: NET and the image file location. Select the partition or disk according to the situation,
Click to accept the client.
4. The client sets to boot from PXE, downloads the image from the server to the client system, enters the PXE network cloning maintenance system, the first item loads the network card driver, OK, then select the partition or disk to clone.
5. The server receives the client information, clicks to send data, and starts network cloning...
