My super USB flash drive system has been uploaded, and the URL is on the fifth floor. Additionally, there is a hard disk version of geexbox on the fourth floor, which contains a large number of decoders and hardware support, a bit more than others on the Internet.

I successfully put GEEXBOX on the USB flash drive, and there are no issues as I mentioned on the second floor. There is an entry for USB flash drive boot in the above code. My USB flash drive system disk has been made, and it is currently undergoing final testing. I will briefly introduce it here.

This is a full-function USB flash drive I made that integrates system maintenance, using local area network and Internet under DOS, multimedia under DOS, WINXPE, GEEXBOX, FANX. There are many features, and the brief introduction is as follows:

This USB flash drive is in USB_ZIP boot mode, with the prompt being a:.

Except for txt files, no other files in the root directory can be deleted.

The DOS in the root directory contains some programs that will be used during startup.

Another directory in the root directory is BOOT, where all tools are concentrated:
encrypt.exe, run it, it will prompt you to enter a password. This program will modify password.sys, and later when you start DOS, it will ask you to enter the previous password. Don't forget it, but if you really forget, run encrypt.exe again under XP and enter another one.
The other programs under BOOT are very commonly used, so no introduction here.

Directories under BOOT:
There is another BOOT directory under it. Here are some things needed for MSDOS startup, that is, some things needed when starting with autoexec.bat and config.sys, such as win32, win98, dwarf's DOS tools, FANX, local area network (only supports my 8139 network card, you need to make some modifications if using other ones. The network card driver can be found in \BOOT\NET\PACKET. There are many source programs in it, only com or exe files are the drivers to be used. The organization here is not done yet).

CAI directory is the TT and WT under DOS, programs for practicing English and Wubi input method. I used it when studying, so it is collected here.

cmosmenu directory, tools for modifying and backing up CMOS.

disktool directory, there are some programs for restoring data and repairing hard disks. The famous DM and disk wizard DISKGEN, PQMAGIC (version 7.0, a bit old) are also placed here.

drv directory, common DOS drivers, including USB, NTFSPRO, IFS, IEEE1394 and PC card drivers on laptops.

ext directory, some DOS extension programs, including Chinese character system TW, China Long, WPS, and program manager seal2, dn,, nc, vc, etc.

ghost directory, including version 8.3 and version 11. If you never use version 11, you can delete it.

grub directory, boot guide tool. There is a BOOT directory under it. Some IMG files started by GRUB and GEEXBOX are placed here.

media directory, including many multimedia tools, all collected from the Internet. Thanks to China DOS Union and New DOS Era website.

net directory, including a large number of tools for using the Internet and local area network under DOS, as well as executable drivers for network cards under DOS.

The above are simply introduced like this.

There is a lot of content in this USB flash drive version, so a 512M USB flash drive is needed. If you think it is large, you can remove FANX or GEEXBOX. Delete \BOOT\BOOT\FANX and \BOOT\GRUB\BOOT\GEEXBOX respectively, and then modify the corresponding entries in menu.lst, autoexec.bat, and config.sys in the root directory. Then finally it can be placed in a 256M disk. If you only want to use FANX or GEEXBOX, it is simpler. FANX can be directly started with loadin under DOS, add it to autoexec.bat. GEEXBOX is started with grub, and the startup parameters refer to menu.lst in the root directory.

I hope everyone likes this "toy" I made.

I've made the Geexbox hard disk version. This version contains many decoders and many hardware. Share it with everyone:

My super USB flash drive system is being uploaded, and I will announce the download address then. Because I'm a bit busy with work, I hope everyone can forgive me.

Please look at the eleventh and twelfth floors

If you are using my hard drive version, the bootloader for the USB flash drive needs to be for the NT system. Otherwise, you can install a DOS and configure grub4dos, which should work.

I boot GeexBox through grub4dos

It boots to a command line similar to bash shell halfway on the USB drive

It may be related to hardware, and it's fine on the external hard drive

The problem you mentioned I have encountered. This is an issue with the USB flash drive. You can try it like this: boot a DOS system, and then use the USB driver in DOS. Definitely, it won't be able to drive your USB flash drive. Now many large-capacity USB flash drives have problems booting Linux. So, it's best to use a smaller-capacity USB flash drive (preferably below 256M). Here I will post another USB flash drive version of geexbox I made. http://hi.cech.com.cn/download/file_share_3648611.html
The hard disk version is here: http://hi.cech.com.cn/download/file_share_3506351.html

I tested again today. Please use the normal download for the above two URLs. The Thunder high-speed download doesn't work. Free spaces always have many problems.
