I’ve been using it myself for several years, and basically there haven’t been any problems. When using it, please be careful with the disk editor part. Since it was written early on, I can’t guarantee full support for newer large hard disks. Hope everyone likes it.

Because the functions are relatively complex,
I put an instructions file, Readme.htm, in the archive. Although it’s a bit long, please read it patiently all the way through.

Good, as soon as I saw it I downloaded it and started using it.
VFAT(LFN) is not supported, not sure whether EXT INT13 is used.
FAT32 should still be OK (I tested the UNDEL function, just still don’t know what the difference is between deleted files beginning with @ and ?)
Found 4 problems:
1. What is F2 for? It seems inconsistent with the readme description
2. When the cursor bar is on the last file, the right mouse button behavior has a problem
3. Display problem (as shown)
4. There seems to be a problem accessing ramdisk, still verifying

1. Long filenames can be seen in the file properties in the DOS window of 9x. There was no place to put them in the interface, so I put them in properties.
2. F2 was something I designed later for the text interface. It’s pretty hard to use, so I didn’t add supplemental instructions. The F2 for file search is to be used where the search interface appears.
3. In the undelete part, those beginning with @ mean the recovery success rate is high, generally files just deleted. Those beginning with ? are very hard to recover correctly; some part of the file contents has been overwritten.
4. The right mouse button is basically not very useful.
5. This is how I handled cases where the directory is too deep or the name is too long in the place where the directory is displayed. Because I wanted to keep the file at 64k in size, I didn’t use a library for displaying directories, it was all written by myself, so I couldn’t take care of that much.
6. The RAMDISK that comes with MSDOS should work; I haven’t tried other ones. Please be careful when using other RamDisk programs.

Then there’s no 9x environment available to test long filenames. As for DOSLFN, not only can it not see long filenames, it also conflicts with it.
