Partitions A and B. Want to merge partition B into partition A.

Tool: PQMAGIC SERVER

The way of PQMAGIC SERVER version is to treat partition B as a folder and put it into partition A.

Note here that the size of A is greater than 32G and the disk format is FAT32.

Format partition B before operation, and keep the data of partition A.

After successful merging, there is an additional folder under partition A, which is the original partition B.

The symptom is that this folder cannot be deleted.

Efficiency Source detection: normal
chkdsk driver: /f normal

Results:

Under DOS:
RD unsuccessful
MOVE unsuccessful
REN successful --- can be renamed

Under Windows:
Right-click unsuccessful
Prompt: The directory is not empty

Can be deleted to the recycle bin, but only when there are files in this folder
After deleting to the recycle bin, the recycle bin cannot be emptied
And when restoring, the content in the original file is missing

Under PE:
Similar situation to Windows
In addition: All file shredder software are ineffective!

I remember that the Paragon company released a tool called Partition Explorer for DOS. Try using it to see if you can delete this directory. Actually, since your B partition is empty, you can completely delete it and then expand the A partition. There's no need to use the merge function.
