A few days ago, a company called Embedded-Ware released a tool product for compressing the Windows 98 operating system, called the “Mini Windows 98” tool suite. After compression, the Windows 98 system can be fully integrated into a 16MB flash memory chip.
An Embedded-Ware spokesperson said that the Mini Windows system will in the future be applied to small handheld computer devices, and the memory carrying it can be smaller than 1 square inch.
