How to install WIN XP on Fujitsu laptop B-2610

Recently, I picked up a laptop - Fujitsu laptop B-2610.
Configuration: Pentium III 800MHz; memory 256MB; hard disk 30GB; the motherboard chipset uses Intle 82440MX, ATI Rage Mobility-M 3D graphics acceleration card, 4MB SDRAM (integrated).

The pain is that there is no built-in CD drive! The iwinXP system has been damaged! Can only boot into the super MS-dos7 floppy disk: (.
USB PCMIC ports are not available,

I downloaded various DOS driver software from your site: DUSE...MOTTO HARII... but the USB port still can't be used.

Hope everyone can help a lot!!!

I didn't pay much attention to the previous method, but I know that most notes can usually be booted from PXE network. Find a computer with a network card, install the PXE version of MaxDOS, run it on another computer, configure it, and then set the notebook to boot from the network card.

Thanks for the reply! This machine supports network card boot.

May I ask, can two machines just be connected with a network cable?

Found the Win95 installation floppy disks, 13 of them, but this machine's hard drive is compressed, still can't install. It seems I have to use the method upstairs.

Just take the hard drive out! Connect it to a mobile hard drive enclosure. Then just copy the XP installation files into it, right?

I have installed Windows XP.

The unsuccessful methods tried:
1. Under DOS\WIN32, various USB and PICIA card drivers. All the programs on this website have been tried. Still cannot be used. (Neither the USB port nor the PICIA card can be installed, and all the software found on the Internet has been used.)
2. Network card boot. My level is limited, and the downloaded software and network configuration are incorrect.
3. Simply "using GHOST hard disk cloning" or "removing the hard disk and connecting it to a mobile hard disk enclosure. Copying the XP installation files into it" is also not okay. None of the GHOST versions of WIN98\WIN2000\WINXP and several others copied are recognized.
4. Installing only the WIN98 system is not okay, and the USB port\CD-ROM still cannot be installed.

Analysis of the reason: The hardware configuration such as the mainboard of this notebook is different from that of a general self-assembled computer.

My method:
1. Install Super DOS using a floppy disk, and then install the win32 system.
2. Partition, and copy the winxp installation program in drive D (originally intended to use a floppy disk to divide the program into 1.4M small packages with WINRAR and copy them in bit by bit. As a result, the floppy drive failed halfway. I had to remove the hard disk and connect it with a USB cable to copy it directly in.)
3. Directly run SETUP, follow the prompts to install directly to drive C, and everything is okay.

Hehe, I haven't tried the first two unsuccessful methods mentioned by the building owner, but the third and fourth ones are definitely feasible. What's the difference between the successful method you finally said and the third "unsuccessful" method? Several versions of ghost are not recognized? What is not recognized? I don't understand! If the fourth one installs 98 and still can't handle it, it can only be said that you are too incompetent! The general USB drive driver patch program under 98 is only about more than 50K in size. If you have a floppy disk, you still can't handle it? Fortunately, you finally got it done anyway. It's a pity that through this incident, you still didn't figure it out thoroughly. Still, do more lurking.

MAXDOS is currently the best way to install the system in a desktop environment without optical drives or floppy drives, but you need to be a little familiar with network knowledge. But MAXDOS_PXE all have Chinese prompts, which should be very easy to use.

How to install the Fujitsu laptop B-2610 Touch Panel!
How to install the Fujitsu laptop B-2610 Touch Panel!

Thank you all for your advice and instruction, please continue to give advice:

Then another problem occurs:

After installing the Touch Panel of this laptop (using the original 2610 program from the Fujitsu website), the stylus calibration is inaccurate. The difference is too large, up to 7mm at most.

The stylus has multiple points for positioning, but when it is on the left side of the screen, the stylus is more to the left, and when it is on the right side of the screen, the stylus is more to the right.

There is only one key on this laptop, which is used to adjust the display size.
