Of course CuteMouse. Download version 1.9 or 2.0 and give it a try. It's also in my MS-DOS 7.10 boot disk.

Mine is a laptop, no floppy drive, no USB boot. Right now it has a winxp system on C:, and I want to add one more DOS7.0 without reinstalling the system. Do any experts have a way?/

What partition format?
Remember to make this a separate post.
Just use a virtual machine,
Do you have enough memory?

That "Dextra Mouse driver Version 6.10" takes up a lot of memory. CuteMouse is quite a bit better.

The following is a quote from Wengier's post on 2003-6-4 19:02:18:
That “Dextra Mouse driver Version 6.10” takes up a lot of memory. CuteMouse is quite a bit better.
But it can support DOS windows...... and in non-standard modes it's also quite a bit better than many drivers.....

CuteMouse can only be used in the upper 1/2 of the screen in some DOS games. For example, games by Paradise Bird such as YES!HG (but Doukyuusei 2 works). Using mouse.com from win98se will do, but it takes too much memory (17k). Which one is best depends on the specific situation.

As long as you have a 98 disc, you can find that file. The extract command is: (e: is the CD-ROM drive, is Enter, assuming the 98 installation directory is pwin982a)
c:\>md mouse
c:\>cd mouse
c:\mouse>e:
e:\>cd pwin982a
e:\pwin982a>c:
c:\mouse>e:extract /a base5.cab mouse.*

Usage:
c:\mouse>lh mouse.com

If we're talking about the DOS mouse driver with the smallest memory usage, it has to be Cloaking+Mouse. I use it on my hard disk myself. And it supports use in WIN's DOS windows, locking, and doesn't have those BUGs.

Sorry, the facts prove that everything I said above starting from the fourth line (as long as you have...) was wrong.
Microsoft's DOS mouse driver is on the DOS 6.22 installation disk.
The extract command is: (e: is the CD-ROM drive, is Enter, assuming the dos 6.22 installation directory is e:\dos622)

c:\>md mouse
c:\>cd mouse
c:\mouse>e:
e:\>cd dos622
e:\dos622>c:
c:\mouse>e:expand e:mouse.co_ mouse.com

The extracted mouse.com is the driver.

Usage:
c:\mouse>lh mouse.com
