I recently ran into a piece of software under DOS that was written in BC3.1 and also uses DPMI. I want to trace this program's port (bpio 1f7). First I tried using TR2.5 under DOS, but it couldn't load the program. Then I used SOFTICE2.8, and while the program was running SOFTICE popped up automatically and then the machine hung (this doesn't seem like the program's anti-tracing technique, it seems more like SOFTICE2.8 doesn't support DPMI). After that I installed SOFTICE4 FOR WINDOWS, but this program won't run under WINDOWS. Let's see whether any experts here have a solution?
