In the local area network, there are only two DOS machines (excluding Windows machines). Now both have installed Msclient 3.0 (NetBEUI + TCPIP) and added the server function. The IP addresses, etc., have been set. The file printing sharing in system.ini is also set to yes, and the directory has been shared using net share. However, net use doesn't work. I've tried it all afternoon and haven't succeeded. Brothers, if anyone knows, please let me know. Thanks.

Hello Michael! I checked the information again and it says that there must be a machine acting as the master browser to provide the browsing list. Is that the case? If so, how to set up msclient3.0 to make DOS be the master browser?

I don't know what the so-called "master browser" is. Just simply running the net share command successfully shared files under DOS. Upstairs, the net.exe that comes with the MS client doesn't provide sharing functions. Download a new one. There are introductions in this forum.
