I saw many people asking for Windows 3.x, 9x, and DOS on the post. Installing DOS is for a rainy day. As for the others, is it for research?

There are many reasons, like hobbies, nostalgia, collection. And actually, not many people use those systems for work.

Mainly for collection. The previous systems were so small, and basically can be recreated on virtual machines, it seems like going back to the past. Don't you find it curious?

It seems that maybe more for newbies' research, I'm very lazy, basically still at the primary level when using DOS in the previous 9x years, some things may have been forgotten, and I'm not interested in batch processing either

In order to conduct some research and out of curiosity, and also for dealing with machine problems in the future, some operations can be used for processing. Sometimes it is also interesting to play with these operating systems. There are no exceptions for some nostalgic people to collect these old versions of the systems.
