Can the GRUB boot menu have a "shortcut key" function? - China DOS Union Forum

For example, a shortcut key similar to "one-click recovery". When booting to select the operating system to boot, just press the pre-defined shortcut key in advance, and you can boot into the selected operating system. Can this operation be achieved in grub?

If there is no such function, can any expert please add this function?

In the DOS partition software spfdisk.exe, there is this pre-defined boot menu shortcut key operation. However, the boot operation function of this software is limited, the interface is monotonous, and it is a bit outdated. But it can be used for reference.

Or does the LZ mean the hotkey to boot GRUB4DOS?

If you use grub4dos only for booting DOS, it can be done in one click. The one - key restore of IBM style can only do one thing. You want it to be able to do many things and also be one - key, but it's not possible at present.
