I also tried, but it didn't work either. However, it's okay to access the Internet through a proxy server using a network card, but I've never succeeded in dialing up alone with a MODEM. Maybe the modem is the problem.

I went online in 1996. At that time, I used a software starting with "l", but I forgot the name. It directly supported external modems with robot chips, which was very interesting.

In fact, if everyone is like me, having a P4 W2K SVR and a machine with relatively poor configuration, you can install Meta Frame on W2K and install Icados or something on another machine to make a W2K terminal. That's also good, haha
