I made a slim version of MSCLIENT with VPC/VMware network card drivers in this section last time, which is very easy to use and switch. The VPCNET.DOS inside is the network card driver under VPC, and VMNET.DOS is the network card driver under VMware. See:

Symantec provides a method to convert NDIS2 to Packet. Specifically, you can search the forum for Packet.
You can download build.rar from http://dato.ys168.com/ GHOST Multicard Template.
There are examples of generating GHOST network boot disks for VPC inside, based on NDIS2 to Packet conversion.
