How can I avoid showing these two lines of information after pressing Enter D:\>xcopy a.dat x:\ D:a.dat 1 file(s) copied [ Last edited by psq on 2007-2-15 at 08:11 PM ]

xcopy a.dat x:\ >NUL or copy a.dat x:\ >NUL

Thanks for the guidance! I tried it, and the message is gone, but the DOS prompt doesn't appear either. I have to press CTRL+C!
