There are, but the functions are much fewer, and it's not very easy to use, far less than QV, MPXPLAY and the like.

, Thanks for the compliment~ But I once tried using DOSAmp and found there was always noise, while QV and others didn't have that, and the operation was not very convenient.

I found that when the system does not have the sound card driver installed, DSS can automatically recognize the sound card, while QV must load the sound card driver in CONFIG.SYS. :lol:

That also depends on what kind of sound card it is. Take the relatively common PCI sound cards nowadays as an example. If you don't load the sound card's own driver, DSS and similar ones can't recognize it at all. At this time, MPXPLAY (while QV can achieve it through an external SDR driver) can really directly recognize many PCI sound cards (such as SB Live! and so on).
