As the title says..

I use Grub (version 0.4.2) to boot, and want to make something similar to矮人DOS (much weaker in function)..

But I don't know how to load the CD image with GRUB... I can only load floppy images like *.ima, and the maximum can't exceed 1.44M... It's really troublesome..

How should I do it? Please tell me the specific meaning of the command if possible.. Thank you!:(

Currently, does GRUB not yet have the function of loading CD image? It can only load the boot file of the real CD, using RUN

grub4dos can support the emulation of floppy disk and hard disk images of any size. However, it currently does not support the emulation of ISO files.

OK~~ Then may I ask, if I want to load a hard disk image of any size (I don't know what format it is? GHO??), then specifically what should I do??

Thank you

GRUB supports hard disk and floppy disk images, both in sector-by-sector copy format IMG images. I'm not very familiar with tools under Windows, but I seem to remember that WinImage has this function, which can make a sector-by-sector copy of an entire hard disk or a partition.

Take a look at the readme of GRUB4DOS to learn about the boot methods of virtual floppy disks and virtual hard disks.
