I think, just having 50M space for the forum in the short term is enough (it only takes up about 17M space now).
The remaining space is quite good for using as an FTP. However, the space for the FTP needs to be much larger, at least 1G, preferably more than 2G, and there's no upper limit (wengier said that the DOS software she collected added up to about 10G in total!! Terrifying!) Hehe... |

Having 10GB just for DOS software is too exaggerated~~~ Maybe I'm a narrow-minded person...
The forum provides 500M for everyone,,,, supports ASP, PHP... As for the FTP space, let's see (if the server goes down, and there are too many materials, I won't be able to transfer them all~~ Hey, but within a few GB, I'm still confident...) |

Windows 3.x/9x/Me themselves can also be regarded as DOS software. However, software that can only run in the Windows interface is not considered DOS software.

FTP is definitely needed. This is how a complete website is. Also, since the space is available, everyone should cooperate to do a good job on the website and forum. I think cooperation and division of labor are better. It should be treated as a project. Don't be like before where everyone is a lone hero but can't form a whole.

I suggest: It is best to only upload small-sized, practical, original... software. Large system software like Win98 and the like are exempt.
Why do I say that? First: The server here, including hardware devices, Internet access devices, and security issues (no hardware firewall~), are all not up to standard. After all, it is transformed from an internal enterprise file server, but now it supports ASP, PHP, MYSQL, CGI... Second: If the hard drive is damaged, there are too many files and it is not easy to recover, and it is also hard to say in terms of time... Third: Small - I can back up in time; if there are too many, it's hard to say... ………… ………… |
