Environment: Internet café, the host IP is 192.168.1.221, and all computers have the WINXP system. There are movies on the host, using the webplayer player, and the admin password is empty.
Idea: There are good-looking videos on the host, and I want to download them with my USB flash drive, but it seems only can be watched online with webplayer. Using sniffing software on the Internet doesn't work, and checking the connection address with view-source also seems not working, it's a technical problem. Problem: So I want to empty connect and map the host disk, because the admin password is empty. net use \\192.168.1.221\ipc$"" /user:"administrator" It shows the command is successful. Then continue: net use z: \\192.168.1.221\c$ /user:"administrator" Why does it show system error 67, cannot find the network name? (I tried before, and also feel that this net use command is easy to make mistakes. Sometimes it can work, and after a while, typing the command again shows an error. I don't know how to do it. I have checked the command many times, and there is no error. Moreover, I have started this service with net start lanmanserver) Please help the expert to teach why!!! |

It means that the connection is not possible. This seems to be because the other party did not enable sharing.

Maybe the network administrator has deleted all default shares on the SERVER, such as c$, d$, e$. So it leads to your connection failure and has nothing to do with the net command.

This is an internal network movie not shared externally, it seems that downloading software can't be used.
Deleted IPC$, then my net use \\192.168.1.221\ipc$ "" /user:"administrator" Why does it show successful. I often use the net use command, and it just feels not easy to use. Sometimes it can indeed map the disk of someone else's computer, but many times it will show errors like 67 and so on. I don't know how it is. In the same internet café, the same situation happened on one computer. Could it be that the host turns sharing on and off for a while? Have you guys encountered these problems with the net use command? |

If IPC$ is deleted, can an empty connection be established? IPC$ is a system default. It's not a common share opened by a disk.

Experts are answering you, but unfortunately I'm not.
First, I clearly tell you that an empty connection (IPC) is established, and it doesn't necessarily require the other party to have the default share enabled. If the key value of RestrictAnonymous (DWORD) under [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\LSA] is 00000001, then even if the other party has the IPC$ share enabled, you may not be able to establish an empty connection. |

Friend, it seems I said something wrong. There should be many people with some skills in this forum. It's just that I'm impatient. Then can you tell me how I can download movies from the host computer? Or teach me another method to access the host's disk. The admin password is empty and the IP address is also there. As above

There are only 2 situations for your situation without outbound calls.
1. Host direct sharing 2. Host set up WEB server For the first situation "Run - \\192.168.0.1" For the second situation as the brother on floor 6 said. |
