Dear moderators and forum members: Hello! I’ve just finished making the banner for the "DOS New Epoch" website. Everyone, please take a look and see what you think. Note that this banner was designed by me for DOS New Epoch (formerly the New DOS Era website), not for the "China DOS Union" banner. I will design the China DOS Union banner separately. Also, the background color could be changed a bit, made livelier, so it would better reflect how DOS is still continuing to develop!

Not bad, looks like Kuangxiang is really good at graphics work!! I just think the website address could appear a bit more slowly.

The reason I chose dark blue for the banner background is that I wanted to express a typical scene of the DOS world, namely black and white. Although there are many DOS enhancement programs now and the DOS world has already become colorful, we still ought to show the true face of the DOS world. Besides that, my choice of dark blue also conveys another meaning: in history there was a supercomputer, IBM's "Deep Blue," which once defeated a world chess master! And on top of that, dark blue represents the vast boundless universe, symbolizing the limitless development of DOS...

Using DOS to enter "DOS" is a pretty good idea, but I feel the same as Wengier—I think it’s a bit stiff and dull. If you could add some dynamic animation or a flashing background, it would probably feel a bit better. Although it has a deeper meaning, most people probably won’t think that far. As for a website banner, what usually flashes by in an instant and gives people a feeling is often the first impression.
