Originally didn't want to make updates for Many_Grub anymore, but since moderator 429499381 pinned this thread, I'll update it; -)
Update the new Many_Grub to add the ability to generate any copy of grldr, add ISO images, welcome testing...

Many_Grub functions and 2008-03-04 new function update instructions
1: Batch processing to generate Grub4DOS menu, convenient for managing the boot management of various DOS, Win or PE systems (Linux not supported for the time being).
2: Support custom startup password to avoid malicious people entering password-free WinPE and DOS systems to cause damage.
3: Customize and set the built-in startup password (including the menu) to avoid those who intend to destroyers modifying menu.lst so that the original menu.lst password becomes a mere formality.
4: Customize different copies of grldr to avoid the awkward situation of overwriting installation due to various boot disks on the network using the same grldr.
5: The generated grldr boot will no longer use the default path of menu.lst, also to avoid the awkward situation of different grldr starting the same menu.lst.
   Supplementary note: If manually configuring menu.lst, the default path of.lst is C:\grub\custom grldr copy.lst
6: Add ISO simulation boot, automatically judge whether the ISO image is continuous, automatically judge the memory size, and decide whether to enable the -mem method to boot the disc image.
7: When running Many_Grub for the first time, it must be installed with grldr to boot.ini by default, and the custom grldr copy cannot occupy the grldr, grub2 file names to maintain the standardity that grldr is unique!
8: WinGZip is localized by myself for compressing boot image files, supporting grldr boot guidance.
9: The uninstallation method is to safely delete using the installation log to avoid mistakenly deleting files left by other installation programs.
10: For novices, the second Grub menu is defaulted to "China DOS Union Wengier MS-DOS 7.1" to solve the problem of novices having difficulty entering DOS

Actually, I wanted to release this a long time ago, but I was just too lazy. I completed this batch script during my lurking period. Hope everyone likes it!

Finally: Wish all members of the union a happy new year!

I took a look. I'm still used to the MENU.LST way.

I've received WinGZip, thanks.

Another thing: The grub4dos 0.42 official version has been released.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
For non-standard img images, use the MAP command or the memdisk method (CHS values)?
There are some problems with个别IMG based on the MAP method.
This tool is quite helpful for newcomers to enter DOS...
1: Just found out that the grub4dos 0.42 official version has been released after posting a good thread, and I'm about to update...
2: As for the non-standard and individual img image CHS values, I considered it before but after all, such images are in the minority. When updating later, I will consider adding N standard empty images of different sizes from 4MB to 64MB.
3: Then I will generate the menu with the default grldr in the MENU.LST way, at least there will be an example for newcomers to understand and like grub4dos
Suggest giving users the option to choose the grldr version, otherwise you have to upgrade every time grub is upgraded.
Ask about how to use the latest version of grub?
I saw the functional introduction is very good, but unfortunately I couldn't get it to work after using it for a few days. Has anyone managed to get it to work? Could you please supplement the instructions on how to use it? I can't get it to work with the provided software package.
The latest version will be updated soon, just because I've been quite busy with work recently.
If you've confirmed that your system is 2000 or XP, please let me know the reason for using it.
For supplementary instructions, just look at the help of each option.
My system is XP. After installation, it is in the boot options. But clicking it has no response. The same happens when using the built-in img. It should be a missing file.
In addition to the software package, what files do I need to prepare at least by myself? What are the requirements for the save paths of each.
Currently, it seems that at least md5.exe and grldr are needed, and they are saved in C:\, but after I copied them myself, it still doesn't work.
Oh~ Thanks to lianjiang2004 for informing. The main reason is the program integrity issue. Many_Grub.EXE cannot run independently and needs to cooperate with MySetup.exe and fastslz.dll. Please check~
Are there any requirements for the decompression and save path of the software package?
I tested on N computers and didn't find such a situation. Sorry, it's difficult to answer your question at present. The next update will add a debugging mode.
The decompression save path should preferably be in a folder without spaces!
I just extracted it to the root directory. Looking forward to the next version. My second primary partition is a hidden win2k, which should have nothing to do with it, right?
