Experts, I downloaded DOS 6.22, it's ZIP-compressed, 3.6M. How can I use floppy disks to install it onto another computer? Many thanks!

To make a DOS 6.22 boot disk, use the sys command to transfer the system files, then copy the extracted programs into the corresponding directories, and edit the config and autoexec files....

On a computer whose partitions have just been created and formatted, boot with a DOS7.1 boot disk, copy the extracted DOS 7.1 files to C:\DOS, and use the DOS7.1 boot disk to do SYS C: 。I don't know how to edit CONFIG.SYS and AUTOEXEC.BAT. Without the boot disk I can't boot the computer. What should I do?

Copy all the files from the DOS7.1 boot floppy into C:\DOS, copy CONFIG.SYS and AUTOEXEC.BAT into the root directory of C:, open them with Notepad or EDIT, and add the path C:\DOS\ before every *.SYS, *.EXE, and *.COM

One thing that needs to be pointed out is: after doing SYS C: with the DOS7.1 boot disk, you should already be able to boot the computer without the boot disk. Your problem seems to be that the C partition was not made active. But that means the partitioning was not completed, and has nothing to do with the two files CONFIG.SYS and AUTOEXEC.BAT.
