With the increasing use of CDs, software for burning CDs has become more important. The following provides the software package DAO for burning CDs under DOS, welcome everyone to use. KO and others tried it last time and said it's very good.

If you want to make a bootable CD, you can easily do it with the included files such as BOOTCAT.BIN, MKBOOTCD.EXE, etc.

Note: If it is an IDE/ATAPI optical drive, you need to load the ASPI.SYS file inside first (you can use ADDEV to load it directly on the command line, and then use the DELDEV command to exit); if it is a USB optical drive, please load the USBASPI.SYS file first; if it is a SCSI/ASPI optical drive, you don't need to load the above files. This is the latest version 3.9C launched in February this year, and it is a registered version that I have registered.

To be honest, my actual collection here is a combination of several DOS CD burning related tool sets that I manually put together. It already includes the registered version of the entire DAO 3.9C, the ASPI.SYS and CDCOPY.BAT files from DOSCDRST beta, USBASPI.SYS from Motto Hairu, as well as programs like BOOCAT.BIN, RAW2ISO.EXE, MKBOOTCD.EXE, etc., to support burning with various IDE/ATAPI, SCSI/ASPI, USB optical drives, including the creation and burning of bootable ISOs.
