I have three partitions on my hard drive. Today, I used the PQ Partition Magic software to merge the D and E partitions. When it was merging to 5%, the program became unresponsive. After restarting, I can still enter Windows 98! There are only C and D partitions left. The files in the D partition are intact and the space hasn't changed. Just that the E partition can't be found and the data in the E partition can't be found.
How can I retrieve the data in the E partition!

The manual method is better. Then when it finds the partition, you see if it is roughly the same as your original partition. If yes, confirm it; otherwise, let it continue to detect.

I used a foreign software called "Data Recovery Expert" to solve it.

This software can search the entire hard drive and find all the data of the mistakenly deleted partitions and files on the hard drive.
