WinPE can only be used to make a bootable CD, right? Someone could take the lead and start it, and then others would join in!

As I understand it, WinPE exists in the form of a command window. It has no graphical interface, but this command window only supports programs under Windows and does not support programs under DOS. You can try it. Most programs that can be used under Windows without installation can run under WinPE by typing the executable filename, and when used they are in windowed mode. If you want to use the network, you may have to integrate ERD. I'm not sure if that's right either, so I'd also like the experts to point it out! Dizzy, it can't run DOS programs? |

It would be nice if WinPE could be slimmed down to under 100MB, or even under 50MB.

I downloaded WinPE RAR files from several websites. After extracting them and taking a look, none of them were ISO files, so they could not boot.
Even worse: the SETUP inside could not run under DOS7.1, and also could not run under PWIN98. This is very different from the description saying "you can boot from the CD-ROM drive and directly enter the interface for use." Originally I wanted to use it to do some things under DOS, but now it won't even let me install it. I don't know what the experts can use it for. |

I currently have one boot disk, winpe+erd Chinese edition. It can be used for network adjustment, changing win2k nt xp passwords, and using some data recovery software. I've already used it, it's okay, it's just too big. I'll find the link for everyone in a moment.

WINPE cannot use 16-bit software (all DOS) software, but it can use WINRAR and WINDOWS COMMAND. If you add in the Win95 Explorer, it should probably work too.
WINPE includes support for various graphics cards and network cards, so it is very large, over 300M. |
