The super MS-DOS 7.10 boot disk I made can drive USB devices:
http://newdos.yginfo.net/dosware/mdos71bd.zip In addition, this disk supports long file names, large hard drives, large memory, FAT32, NTFS, LOGO screens, etc. |

Ran to
UHCI USB Controller Initialized (I/O 0x600 IRQ Disabled) Then a box popped up, saying Detected USB Storage Device Then it froze. How to solve this? |

At this time, you can pull out the USB device to continue running, and then insert it again immediately. Since DUSE doesn't work, then let the subsequent USBASPI.SYS drive it.

Pulling the USB device out doesn't work either, because it's completely dead here. Even pressing Alt-Ctrl-Del can't restart. Is there any other way?

Then try to add a REM command before the DUSE command in CONFIG.SYS.

Then, can the USB still be used?

Of course. You can use the USBASPI driver behind DUSE to drive USB devices.

I also encountered this problem:
UHCI USB Controller Initialized (I/O 0x600 IRQ Disabled) 1. At this time, you can unplug the USB device to continue running, and then plug it in immediately. Since DUSE doesn't work, then let the subsequent USBASPI.SYS drive it; 2. Then try to add a REM command before the DUSE command in CONFIG.SYS. Are these two methods feasible? |
