Regarding the first question, the value of the BLASTER environment variable is very important;

For the second question, just download a Packet driver for that network card and run it.

What is the value of the BLASTER environment variable? Exactly how do I change it so the sound card will produce sound? I'm a newbie, hope you can be a bit more detailed
