Manually Upgrading DvNews Forum to 6.0 - China DOS Union Forum

I found the 6.0 version of the DvNews source program today and tried upgrading my original forum to 6.0SP2. But the database upgrade program provided by DvNews can't be used... just as wengier said. Sigh...
So I had no choice but to spend some time upgrading it manually.
The DvNews database isn't encrypted; you can open it with Office 2000 and similar software (specifically it should be MS Access).
I compared the two databases (5.0 and 6.0) and found that only a small number of tables and fields are different.

admin ---> administrators ＊＊＊＊
bbs1 ---> forum data (posts) ＊＊＊＊

board ----> forum categories ＊＊＊＊
BoardPermission
bookmark
class ---> this table does not exist in 6.0.
config ---> configuration file for forum templates. ＊＊＊＊

lockip
log ----> records of forum administration.
message ---> private message records
online ----> forum online status
topic ---> topics ＊＊＊＊
user ----> this is the registered users table ＊＊＊＊
useraccess
usergroups
usertitle
vote
voteuser
The ones marked with ＊＊＊＊ are relatively important. They need to be migrated into the new database.

board ----> forum categories is different from the old one; it combines the old class and board together. But the fields are the same. The meaning of the values has changed a bit.
bbs1－－－this one is different too. Mainly a few fields are different, and the field order is different too. Just adjust the fields and the order and it'll be OK. Pay attention to the field types...

The others seem like they can just be imported directly...
