DSKWRITE is a latest, powerful and convenient disk image tool under DOS. It can expand disk image files of various formats to disks, for example, expand IMA/IMG files to floppy disks, expand IMG files to hard disks, etc. No matter how large the IMA/IMG files are, this provides great convenience for us to make boot disks. For example:
DSKWRITE DISK.IMG A: can expand DISK.IMG to drive A. Thanks to bootcd.narod.ru for writing.

This software seems to only be able to extract IMG files to the floppy drive. Can it be extracted to the hard drive? If I want to extract the file named 7.IMG, is the command typed like this? DSKWRITE 7.IMG d: My floppy drive is broken, and I can only extract to the hard drive

It is like this. If it is a floppy disk image itself, it can only be extracted to a floppy disk; if it is a hard disk image itself, it can only be extracted to a hard disk. UNDISK/DOSIMG is different. They only extract files from the image, and all other various information will be completely lost.

Thanks. Sometimes Undisk can't unlock the 2.88M floppy disk image file. I don't know the reason. Is this okay?

I am going to extract that hard disk detection tool disk , someone in the single hook provided an IMG image, I used DSKWRITE to try to extract it to drive D, but it didn't work

That hard disk detection tool disk image is a floppy disk image, and it can only be extracted to a floppy disk.

UNDISK does not support some new formats, please use DOSIMG instead.
