Take note, this is DOS 6.00, Microsoft's first high-tech DOS. 4 disks.

Thanks, Teacher Mo!! By the way, why do you say it's Microsoft's first high-tech DOS??

I guess it means it was the first high-version MS-DOS.

MS-DOS 6.x/7.x/8.x count as high-version DOS;
MS-DOS 4.x/5.x count as mid-version DOS;
MS-DOS 1.x/2.x/3.x count as low-version DOS.

Oh, but I'm still puzzled by the words "high-tech"....

I remember it was said in a book.
Because DOS 6 was the first to support hard disk compression and a boot menu.

Unfortunately DOS 6 does not support large hard disks, large memory, long filenames, or FAT32 partitions, so at present it is definitely outdated.

At present MS-DOS 7.10 is still fairly practical, but later on I'm afraid we'll have to switch over to the still-developing ROM-DOS or FreeDOS.

The “MS-DOS 7.10 full installation edition” has the TREE command.
