The breakthrough in version 5.0 is unprecedented: EdtUP installation is no longer restricted by the path. No matter where your Windows is installed, it can install smoothly, and the contents of the whole floppy are no longer restricted by the media or path either. In other words, it can be freely transplanted for testing, and it supports the specs of nearly 50 kinds of network cards.

The graphical interface I'm talking about is an improved version of the 4.0 edition. Through centralized management it supports multiple languages (it's just that right now I can't find a suitable Chinese software tool, one that does not automatically Chinese-localize the operating interface, and has the font bitmap like the Windows 2000 boot disk).

The development process for this version may be very long. The principles I advocate are completeness, speed, and stability. The batch files I write are easy to read, and I do not allow junk code. So even if I work at full speed, it will still take a long time; testing alone will take up more than half the time. After it's finished, I will provide everyone with a simplified boot floppy.

I am currently developing version 5.0 of the boot disk, and plan to make it into English, German, and Chinese versions. This time that affects the displayed graphics. Does anyone know a way to use a Chinese bitmap font in DOS similar to Windows 2000's (please don't consider UCDOS or PDOS95)? Many thanks!
