Commandos is the only PC game installed on my computer, which shows how much I love it. Actually, Commandos 2 is much easier than the first one. (They say 3 is even easier.) Using the "X" + blind spot tactic, you can finish the game in 3-4 hours. If you really want to experience WWII special forces, only the Veryhard level will do. Ever since my first year of high school, I gradually became more and more interested in the European war. When I saw Commandos 1, I was immediately attracted by its ads. Back then at school, I even had to ask someone to go out and buy Commandos 1 for me.
Commandos 2 can be said to be a milestone in military strategy games. Assassination, sabotage, sniping, individual combat, and team combat are all presented quite realistically. When you use just the sapper + sniper to wipe out no fewer than 100 men of a German mechanized infantry division, that feeling really can't be described in words. When playing the Burma campaign, I carried with me the 300,000 wronged souls of Nanjing, and for once carried out the "Three Alls Policy" (strip all, loot all, kill all), using war to sustain war. In the end I even did a thorough massacre of the city.
The best combination in Commandos 2 should be the Green Beret + female spy. No need to say much about the Green Beret—speed, stamina, and methods all make him the top choice. As for the female spy, considering she can use a sniper rifle, at close range she seduces them, at long range she snipes them; she can act as both spy and sniper. With a partner like this, the Green Beret is truly like a tiger with wings.
The best tactic is luring the enemy + silent tactics. For luring the enemy, sex, cigarettes, wine, and corpses are top choices. "Silent" means not alarming the enemy troops, so fists and knives are the best options. Firearms come next, and unconventional weapons are the worst.
